 Özlem Atan brings over 18 years of experience in the banking and financial technologies sector, with deep expertise in retail banking and digital transformation. Fro the last 1,5 yrs she has been leveraging her extensive banking experience to advise fintech companies aiming for sustainable growth.

In the fintech space, she currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the Scale-Up Growth Program at TÜBİSAD, supporting scale-up tech companies on their growth journeys. She also provided long-term (6 months) growth consultancy to Finartz, a fintech offering digital wallets and secure payment solutions, where she has been instrumental in building sales processes, reporting structures, and lead generation systems. Additionally, she supported DZD Tech for 6 months on prem, a digital transformation technology provider, during the productization and market positioning phase of their DoKa solution.

Previously, Özlem held strategic and leadership roles in critical projects at HSBC Turkeyand Citibank. At Citibank, she led credit product sales through card partnerships such as Wings. At HSBC, she was a key figure in the bank’s core transformation program in partnership with Intertech, where she developed and managed the digital roadmap for all retail banking processes. She also served as the Retail Banking Business Performance Lead, overseeing cost, revenue tracking, and cultural transformation efforts. Özlem also contributed to open banking strategy design and led mobile/digital channel sales initiatives for retail banking products.

She holds a degree in International Trade from Boğaziçi University (2006) and a Master's in Communication Strategies from Galatasaray University (2013).
